Since we are running fossil fuels to ruin our environment further, we have slowly started to adopt electric vehicles. At first, electric vehicles were an eyesore, had a short range and bad charging time. Hence, we did not have a runaway hit with electric vehicles. But times have changed now and things are looking a lot exciting with these concepts! So here’s a look at the concepts that could ‘shock’ us in the near future:

 

1) Porsche Mission E:

The car is set to pack 2 engines putting out 600 horsepower and will have the ability to charge wirelessly!

 

2) Volkswagen ID Buzz:

Revamping its iconic van in an electric avatar, Volkswagen says it will have seats which can move and be configured for a variety of purposes.

3) Aston Martin RapidE:

Aston Martin first ever electric super sedan! They will make only 155 RapidE sedans, which will be sold in 2019.

 

4) Tesla Roadster:

A 400+ kmph top speed. A 1000 thousand mile range. 0-100 kph in 1.9 seconds! Elon Musk must be having his hands full with this one right now.

5) Faraday Future FF91:

Faraday Future says the FF 91 will have 1050 horsepower and go from 0-60 mph in 2.39 seconds.

 

6) Rimac C_Two:

The Croatian hypercar manufacturer has claimed that this car can do a 0-100 time in 1.85 seconds and can be recharged to 80 per cent in 30 minutes.

7) BMW Mini E:

The classic car will wear the electric cape by 2019

 

8) Fisker EMotion:

Fisker EMotion

New proprietary battery technology from Fisker will give this car a 400+ mile range.

 

9) Mercedes-Benz EQC:

The all-wheel-drive SUV will have a 200-mile range and a charging capability of 80 per cent in 40 minutes

 

10) Tesla Model Y:

Musk says the Model Y will be sold by the end of 2020. We believe it will be able to disrupt the market just like how its previous models did!

 

The future of electric vehicles does look a lot prettier. Advancements in tech only make adopting an electric vehicle much easier! Here’s to a greener future!
